As part of their industrial partnership, Imaginair and Alterkraft will jointly present an innovative cabin furniture demonstrator for a regional aircraft at the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) in Hamburg. This low‑stowage cabin furniture unit, manufactured using KraftBone®, Alterkraft’s paper‑based composite material, has been developed as an industrial proof of concept. It demonstrates the capability to integrate next‑generation sustainable composites into aircraft cabin equipment meeting aerospace requirements. The demonstrator will be exhibited on Imaginair’s stand at AIX 2026, highlighting both Alterkraft’s material technology and the joint industrial work carried out by the two teams.
